An surprising favorite for the PGA Awards, returning shows with new episodes, and the last surprising news in the world of Chowder

There’s big news in the world of entertainment this week. First, let’s take a look at the past week just in time for awards season for this year’s Oscars. The 2010 PGA Awards are in full swing again as the biggest box office movies compete for the Golden Laurel. This year’s surprising contender Disney and Pixar’s “Up” is favored to take the hardware this year. But will one of these animated movies such as 9, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Coraline, and Disney’s The Princess and the Frog steal the spotlight?

Live action shows return this week after a long holiday weekend. Viewers will be able to catch up on their favorite shows this season plus what will be in store as the 2010 Golden Globes approaches this February.

We cap off the week with some big news for Chowder since this is the last we’ll see of the chef in training. Since the show officially ended last year, Cartoon Network is serving leftovers with new episodes including the epilogue “Chowder Grows Up”.

What will result for Disney and Pixar’s “Up” at the PGA Awards? What impact will live action shows do for viewers as award season arrives, and what new show will viewers like now that Chowder is serving up his last dish once he become Mung’s successor as his catering company? All of these answers will be revealed in time as your favorite shows return to glory!
