Last minute toon news before the new year

Last week, viewers saw the best movies such as Disney/Pixar’s Ratatouille, The Incredibles, and the Emmy award winning blockbuster movie Happy Feet. This week, Dr. Seuss stops by to tell viewers their stories such as The Sneetches and Green Eggs & Ham. Plus, along with the Cat in the Hat, he faces off against the Grinch in the Seuss special "The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat".

As for the other networks, they bring out their holiday marathons of Christmas specials dating back to the first week of December and dating back to where they first premiered.

It’s been a long journey in the world of Christmas cartoons this year. Which of these new cartoons for 2010 will enter the yuletide world and join the others in the spirit of gift giving? It’s up to the toon world to decide as we leave 2009 and welcome 2010!

Another helping of Christmas specials

Last week in Storm Along, everyone was celebrating their holiday they call Low Tidings. It’s just like Christmas only spiritual. Everyone was jolly and happy except for Knuckles because he hated Low Tidings. Ever since he was a kid, he didn’t receive any presents and was beaten up for being bad. Flapjack knew he had to do something to cheer Knuckles up by teaching him how to be a good kid and get his holiday treasures. And thanks to a Low Tiding miracle not only Knuckles regain his good side, Flapjack’s good teachings taught him a lesson of the Low Tiding spirit.

That’s why this week, Cartoon Network, ABC Family and Nick are dishing out the best holiday specials from Rankin and Bass to new Nicktoon specials such as Back in the Barnyard’s “It’s An Udderful Life”.

So enjoy these and other specials from the toon world from now until December 26th. Until in 2010, keep watching for new episodes and all new stuff ahead for the new year!
